This place as the best biscuits I've ever had.. their other foods were excellent too. Service is quick, but the place is small. You might want to make a reservation when going.
Overall, if you were in the area like I was, do NOT pass up on this place. I know now that the next time I'm in Delaware I have to return here.
Incredible food, great staff. The restaurant seats about 30 people though, so be sure to check reservations for possibly busier nights.
The building was actually a little hard to find for us. It is actually in the side of the Dollar General on the corner of Palmer Street and not directly on the street. Despite the struggles of driving around for a few minutes, the meal was very much worth it. The restaurant was kept clean and the employees seemed to enjoy working there. Since it's such a humble joint, we even got to talk to the owner.
It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is a must go to place. We go there quite often. When the owner, Mike, is there he comes out from the kitchen to greet each guest. He enjoys his restaurant and what he does and it comes out in his food. We have never had a bad meal there and I think we have tried everything on the menu.
Crawfish appetizer was delicious followed by a wonderful poboy. The best place to get good Creole food if you're not in Louisianna.
The place is casual but the food isn't. This place rocks! I've had the blackened catfish a couple of times it's very good. Other items on the meal on the menu that are great is the shrimp creole and the crab cakes . Their sea food bisque soup is very thick it's loaded with delicious Seafood morsels and steaming hot. The people there are very courteous super attentive and they deserve a round of applause. We always make a point of stopping there for a meal anytime we are in the area.
